I was born in Bonaire, and I have been swimming, fishing, windsurfing, and boating the surrounding waters of the island since my childhood.

I became a professional diver in 2002, and as both a boat captain and a dive guide I know the under and above water conditions of Bonaire very well.

I speak English, Spanish, Dutch and Papiamentu fluently.

When I heard about Area9 Mastery Diving Research Center’s ambitious project building and operating a highly specialized exploration vessel, I was not in doubt about joining the team as the captain of the boat and head of the boat operation.
